Lubrication on ceramic ball bearings has a longer service life than lubrications on steel ball bearings.
The temperatures during the operation of the handpiece are much cooler on ceramic ball bearings compared to steel ball bearings.
The speed rating of handpieces with ceramic balls is higher than those with steel balls.
The lightweight ceramic ball bearings provides less weight for the handpiece.
The noise level is much less than those that contains a steel bearing during the operation of the handpiece .

Do not take shortcuts when sterilizing and cleaning.
We’re sure you’re familiar with the extensive regulations and guidelines regarding instrument sterilization, but there are some additional factors to consider:
Make sure you flush the handpiece throughly
Lubing the handpiece well to provide proper lubricant for the turbine
Purge handpiece to expel excessive lubrication
Clean your handpiece thoroughly before putting it in the autoclave

The inside of the handpiece head
The turbine chuck
